Our Certified Nutrition Educators



We are a group of Certified Nutrition Educators. We offer free classes in Utah County, UT encouraging EATING WELL ON A BUDGET. To learn more about our program, FOOD$ENSE, go here.


Raven
Raven supervises the Food$ense program in Utah County and has been an educator with this program since April 2010.  She has her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from UVU.   She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).  Raven is passionate about living a well and balanced life. She loves to experiment with food, and is always trying new recipes and food genres. She took a particular interest in helping individuals and families to eat well after running a family child care and preschool, and she is a firm believer in making food and mealtime fun and interesting.


Kristi
Kristi has a Bachelor of Science in Public and Community Health.  Kristi taught as a volunteer with our program since April 2013 and officially joined our team in July 2014.  She has a special interest in nutrition and is an invaluable resource on feeding a family on a budget, as she is a mother of six beautiful children.  She is passionate about helping families and encouraging active, healthy lifestyles.


Faith
Faith completed her degree in Public Health from BYU.  She joined our team in July 2014.  Faith is bilingual in Spanish and has spent a significant amount of time teaching and serving in countries around the world. She attributes her love of and skill in cooking to what she learned from her mom and loves helping others to improve their lives.


Melissa
Melissa has her Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from UVU.  She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).  She joined our team in July of 2014.  She completed an internship with Timpanogos Regional Hospital in the Diabetes Education program.  Melissa has a passion for food, nutrition, and creating healthy meals in the kitchen and is excited to bring nutrition education to more people in Utah County.
